Specializing in the treatament of depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I incorporate awareness of the body's response to strong emotion in my practice.
I am certified in equine-assisted therapy and provide services to clients at my property in Mountain Center.

I work through telehealth using Zoom. This platform is HIPPA compliant assuring your privacy.
Having dual licensure allows me to see people from both California and Tennessee.
I can provide clinical supervision to those preparing for licensure.
I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensititization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing as well as broad experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy. My experience as head of clinical services at the Betty Ford Center gives me sensitivity to the needs of those in recovery from addiction. As a practitioner of Somatic Experiencing I am aware of the impact trauma has on the entire body and incorporate that awareness in helping those with a history of trauma.
I have six horses who assist me in providing therapy to individuals and groups. I'm a Certified Equine Interaction Professional with a specialty in working with people with mental health issues (CEIP-MH).

Most of my clients would describe me as calm, reasoned, direct, supportive and intuitive. I'm also curious about what might be behind problematic thoughts and behaviors.
